Complained about chipped plate no care what so ever by boss even staff don't know about heaoth and safety greasy vege breakfast portion size have done smaller will not visit again unless I'm desperate .

I really miss this place man. Over the years I’ve had veggie breakfasts all over the country . Nowhere has matched up with Med’s for me for size, value and deliciousness. This place is a banging old school Halal caff that was around long before London was plagued with generic dusty sourdough brunch culture and watered down matcha and it will still be here long after inshallah.

Good breakfast options and at a good price. The OG English Breakfast place (that's halal). If you're expecting fancy free range eggs and sourdough bread at these prices, you're lost. This is an old school cafe, that's the vibe, food and price. And stopped selling nasty Coca Cola drinks, well done.

Local breakfast cafe always serve so well and they're food is fresh, staff members well trained and polite. Seating is usually full but frees up very quick as well.

I’ve been coming to Meds since my university days, so it was nice to return after several years—my first visit since before COVID in 2019. There have been a few changes since then, likely due to rising costs. Previously, you could choose your bread, and tea or coffee was included with the meal, which no longer seems to be the case.
That said, the food was still enjoyable. The portion sizes were generous, the pricing was reasonable, and the fresh orange juice was a nice touch.
If I had one recommendation, it would be to improve the interior. The place feels a bit tired and could benefit from some investment in decor and overall cleanliness. It’s looking slightly outdated and worn.
Still, the nostalgia and quality of the food make it worth revisiting—and I definitely will again.- Meal type

Extremely friendly chef, who even makes a few adjustments for vegetarians. My wife and I had tacos, which were very tasty. My daughters had a vegetarian sandwich (modified, not exactly on the menu) and a take on penne arabiata (also modified, not really Italian, but still very good). The restaurant itself is very unassuming and doesn't look very inviting from the outside. Don't be fooled.

This cafe is a bit different - well worth a visit - the menu and cuisine have a strong Algerian influence. My favourite is the chicken omelette. Friendly service too. Convenient for walks around the Regent's Canal (South arm) and Victoria Park.

Whilst we appreciate your feedback on the food, a bold assumption on our employee is quite out of pocket and very distasteful from you. Also maybe someone’s first language isn’t English like yours Lilly ? Maybe take that into consideration in a place that is as multicultural as Tower Hamlets Please in future be respectful and not make such baseless claims on people’s state with zero evidence just to further express your opinion on the food served. They don't accept the 3 vouchers for a £1 coffee, and even pretend like they don't know anything about it. Even though it is clearly on the 3+ app.
